Ween! All hail Boognish! 28 years after the release of the Mollusk, this album is just as influential as it was then. Released June 24th 1997, this 90s alt-rock masterpiece is a culmination of every weird corner of the 90s. Soaked in brine and left out in the sun this album is a must listen. Inspiring Spongebob this album has a strange history and if you haven't already listened it's about time you do. Weird, off-kilter, and kaleidoscopic this genre bending albums is a 10/10 in my opinion and will forever be one of my favorites.

Pigs, who doesn't love them? Not just a movie starring Nicolas Cage, these cute little pink creatures make good pets. When I was in highschool, one of my friends adopted a miniature pig. The only issue was that the pig never stopped growing and became a full size pig in about 6 months. Even though it was a large animal they still let it walk throughout the house and it was one of the sweetest animals ever. Also, you can't mention pigs without mentioning Pigs X7, a cool noisy punk band worth checking out! Click above to learn about Betty the rock giving pig!

In an ever-evolving age of “new,” smartphones and social media dependency have been on the rise. Social media’s original intention was to connect us but has ultimately separated us further from each other. This newsletter comes to you to lessen your dependency on this isolating technology. We aim to move away from these vices and support those choosing to use the “dumb phone.” Using email rather than social media, this newsletter will supply information on events as well as updates on the music scene within SLO. Without social media, you risk missing out on real social events, but this newsletter will allow you to skip the FOMO and stay in the loop of everything going on in the central coast scene.
This newsletter will update you about shows, gigs, concerts and other events. It will also feature concert reviews, artist spotlights, weekly playlists, and more.
